MOST COMPREHENSIVE ONLINE GUIDE TO FINDING JOBS IN JAPAN LAUNCHES
TOKYO, Japan, July 16 2001 -- Tokyo Connections (www.tokyoconnections.com) today announced the launch of its Internet site, which reviews over 200 resources for job-seekers in Japan, and for Japanese speakers looking to work overseas.
Tokyo Connections is the first site to pull together the many disparate online sources of information about jobs in Japan into a single location, providing a central stepping-off point to relevant job-related resources.
"Head over to your favorite search engine and look for information about 'jobs in Japan.' You'll turn up a few links to relevant sites - buried in a morass of broken or outdated links, Steve Jobs' Macworld Tokyo keynotes, and even pornography," said the owner of Tokyo Connections.
"After struggling with the search engines, it was clear that there was a real need for a site such as Tokyo Connections," he continued. "Indeed, the early feedback I have received overwhelmingly supports this view."
Each entry is added manually to the Tokyo Connections directory, after the resource has been thoroughly explored. This ensures that only relevant, up-to-date resources make it into the directory. Reviews focus on flaws as well as merits, providing a balanced view of each resource.
Visitors to Tokyo Connections can rate listed resources on a scale of 1 through 10, and can view the most popular resources, both by number of visits and by rating.
